Rakuten SixthSense is an API Security platform that gives engineering and security teams real-time traffic monitoring, deep payload analysis, and protection against API-specific threats (e.g., BOLA/BFLA, business-logic abuse, shadow/zombie APIs). Rakuten SixthSense complements WAFs, DAST, and SCA with continuous runtime protection, comprehensive API discovery, usage analytics, and AI-driven anomaly detection. We deploy flexibly (SaaS, on-prem, or hybrid) and integrate cleanly with modern API gateways and cloud stacks.
The Role
We're looking for a hands-on Content Product Marketer who owns
end-to-end inbound lead generation
through content. You'll build the content engine (strategy → execution → measurement) across
LinkedIn
,
ebooks/whitepapers
, and
website pages/landing pages
to attract, educate, and convert our ICP:
DevSecOps, Platform, and Engineering leaders
.
What You'll Do
- Own inbound pipeline
from content: run the editorial calendar, and drive MQL/SQL impact from organic, social, and gated assets. - Content strategy & execution:
research topics, craft narratives, and ship high-quality content for LinkedIn, ebooks, whitepapers, blog posts, solution pages, and gated landing pages. - Website growth:
plan and publish SEO-backed pages, A/B test headlines, CTAs, and forms to lift CVR. - Thought leadership:
turn SME input (security researchers, platform engineers) into crisp POVs, technical explainers, and leadership posts. - Campaigns & launches:
package features/use cases into value-led stories; build landing pages, nurture sequences, and social promos. - Gated content engine:
produce ebooks, reports, and checklists (e.g., API discovery, BOLA prevention, runtime protection) with clear hooks and strong offers. - LinkedIn program:
run a steady drumbeat of company & exec posts; experiment with formats (carousels, threads, videos) to grow followers and engagement. - Analytics & reporting:
instrument GA4/Search Console/marketing automation; monitor content velocity, rankings, traffic, engagement, and MQLs; double down on what works. - Sales/SDR enablement:
convert assets into battlecards, talk tracks, and case-study one-pagers to accelerate opportunities. - Workflow management:
brief designers, videographers, and keep everything on brand and on time.
What You'll Bring

, and funnel analytics. - Comfortable turning complex technical topics (APIs, security, cloud) into clear, business-outcome-driven stories.
- Tools you know:
GA4, Search Console, Ahrefs/Semrush, and AI-prompting for strategy and execution - Excellent project management, stakeholder communication, and an experimenter's mindset.
Nice to Have
- Cybersecurity or developer-tools experience (API gateways, service mesh, WAAP).
- Experience marketing to
DevSecOps/Platform/Engineering
leaders in India or APAC. - Webinar/podcast production, customer research/interviews, and PR coordination.

- Inbound MQLs & pipeline
attributed to content (first-touch & multi-touch). - Organic search growth:
qualified organic sessions, non-brand share. - Conversion metrics:
landing page CVR, gated content CVR, and form-fill quality. - LinkedIn performance:
follower growth, engagement rate, and traffic contribution. - Content velocity & quality:
