Position Overview:

The HR Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end HR operations, including payroll administration, statutory compliance, employee management, and grievance handling. This role ensures smooth HR functioning in alignment with company policies and legal standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and process monthly payroll accurately and on time.
  • Ensure statutory compliance with PF, ESI, Gratuity, Professional Tax, LWF, and other labor laws.
  • Maintain and update employee records in HRMS and ensure data accuracy.
  • Handle employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and ensure proper redressal mechanisms.
  • Support performance management and appraisal processes.
  • Coordinate with auditors and government authorities for HR-related compliance audits.
  • Implement HR policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Oversee onboarding, exits, and employee lifecycle management.
  • Prepare HR dashboards and reports for management review.
  • Partner with business heads for employee engagement and retention initiatives.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of payroll processing and HR compliance.
  • Excellent understanding of labor laws and HR regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and HRMS systems.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • High attention to detail and confidentiality.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in HR / Commerce / Business Administration (MBA/PGDM in HR preferred).
  • 8 to 14 years of experience in HR operations, payroll, and compliance.
  • Experience in managing a multi-location workforce will be an added advantage.
