 Estimator & Jobsheet Executive

Department:
 Sales / Production Coordination

 Kondapur, Hyderabad

Reports To:
 Production Manager

Job Purpose:

To prepare accurate cost estimations, quotations, and jobsheets for uPVC/Aluminium window and door projects by coordinating with the sales and production teams. Ensures pricing accuracy, material optimization, and timely handover of project details to production.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Estimation & Quotation Preparation

  • Study drawings, site measurements, or client BOQs to calculate material requirements.
  • Prepare cost estimations for uPVC/Aluminium doors and windows including profiles, hardware, glass, and accessories.
  • Prepare quotations based on approved price lists and company margins.
  • Update costing sheets regularly as per supplier price changes.

2. Jobsheet & Production Coordination

  • Convert approved quotations into detailed 
    Jobsheets
     for the production team.
  • Ensure all job details (window type, size, glass, color, hardware) are accurately mentioned.
  • Cross-check with sales and client requirements before final submission.
  • Coordinate with production and dispatch teams for any clarifications.

3. Data Management & Documentation

  • Maintain all project-wise costing, quotation, and jobsheet records.
  • Update Excel/ERP-based estimation trackers.
  • Monitor pending approvals and update sales teams accordingly.

4. Communication & Coordination

  • Liaise with design, sales, and factory teams for technical inputs.
  • Support sales executives in explaining estimation details to clients.
  • Communicate with suppliers for rate updates and special material requirements.

Key Skills Required:

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in 
    MS Excel / AutoCAD / ERP (if used)

  • Good understanding of 
    uPVC/Aluminium window systems
    .
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in calculations.
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Diploma / B.Tech in Civil / Mechanical / Architecture or equivalent.
  • 2–5 years experience
     in estimation or jobsheet preparation in uPVC/Aluminium industry preferred.
