Sr. Account Executive

Job Purpose:

To manage and oversee all financial and accounting activities of the company, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. The role involves finalization of accounts, GST, TDS, audits, coordination with statutory authorities and auditors, and leading the accounts team within a manufacturing setup.

Job Specifications:

Education:
M.Com / CA (Inter or Final)

Experience Required:
7–8 years (preferably in a
manufacturing industry
)

Skills Required:


• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards


• Hands-on experience in Tally ERP / SAP


• In-depth knowledge of GST, TDS, and Income Tax compliance


• Experience in financial statement preparation and audit coordination


• Team-leading and supervisory skills


• Good communication and analytical skills


• Proficiency in Excel and MS Office

Detailed Job Description:

1. Accounting & Bookkeeping

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in Tally ERP/SAP.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliation, and journal entries.
  • Monitor day-to-day accounting transactions in alignment with manufacturing operations.

2. Taxation & Compliance

  • Handle GST filing, TDS deductions, and monthly/annual returns.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements and timely submission of reports.

3. Financial Reporting

  • Prepare trial balance, profit & loss statement, and balance sheet.
  • Assist management with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

4. Audit & Coordination

  • Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors for audit processes.
  • Provide necessary documentation, schedules, and clarifications.

5. Team Leadership

  • Supervise and guide the accounts team to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Train team members on accounting standards and software use.
  • Foster a collaborative and efficient working environment.

6. Other Responsibilities

  • Support management in decision-making with accurate financial data.
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial information at all times.
