About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to manage our invoicing, accounts receivable/payable, and day-to-day accounting activities. The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy in financial transactions, timely billing, and compliance with tax and statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and issue customer invoices in line with company policies and GST requirements.
 - Record and reconcile accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions.
 - Maintain accurate ledger entries and ensure proper documentation for all financial records.
 - Track payments, follow up on overdue accounts, and coordinate with customers/vendors for reconciliations.
 - Process vendor bills, employee reimbursements, and petty cash transactions.
 - Generate GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance reports and assist in timely filing.
 - Support monthly/quarterly/annual financial closing and assist in preparing MIS reports.
 - Coordinate with banks for payments, collections, and reconciliations.
 - Work closely with internal teams (sales, procurement, operations) to ensure accurate billing and accounting flow.
 - Assist auditors in internal and statutory audits.
 
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
 - 2–5 years of experience in accounting/invoicing (manufacturing/SME experience preferred).
 - Strong knowledge of Tally / Zoho Books / ERP systems.
 - Familiarity with GST, TDS, and other Indian tax compliance.
 - Proficiency in MS Excel and comfort with spreadsheets and reconciliations.
 - Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines.
 - Good communication skills for vendor/customer coordination.
