Job Title: Project Manager Commercial Interior Fit-out

Job Purpose:

The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering commercial interior fit-out projects within budget, on time, and to the required quality standards. This role requires managing multiple stakeholders including clients, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless execution of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Planning & Execution

  2. Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets for fit-out projects.

  3. Ensure compliance with project scope, design intent, and technical specifications.

  4. Coordinate with architects, consultants, and clients to finalize drawings and approvals.

  5. Team & Stakeholder Management

  6. Lead, manage, and motivate site teams, subcontractors, and vendors.

  7. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and regular updates.

  8. Manage contracts and negotiations with vendors and service providers.

  9. Site & Construction Management

  10. Oversee daily site activities to ensure quality, safety, and timely progress.

  11. Monitor installation of partitions, flooring, ceilings, MEP services, furniture, and finishes.

  12. Conduct regular site inspections and resolve any technical/site-related issues.

  13. Budgeting & Cost Control

  14. Prepare BOQs, project estimates, and track costs against approved budgets.

  15. Control material procurement, wastage, and ensure timely availability of resources.

  16. Approve vendor bills and monitor cost variations.

  17. Quality, Safety & Compliance

  18. Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations on-site.

  19. Conduct quality checks and ensure compliance with industry standards.

  20. Manage statutory approvals, permits, and documentation as required.

  21. Project Handover & Closure

  22. Prepare snag lists and oversee rectification before final handover.

  23. Deliver as-built drawings, warranties, and O&M manuals to clients.
  24. Conduct post-project evaluation to identify learnings and improvements.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field.
  • 7–10 years of proven experience in managing commercial interior fit-out projects (corporate offices, retail, hospitality, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of interior materials, finishes, and MEP services.
  • Experience in handling multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Strong project management and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and client management abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Project, AutoCAD, and other project management tools.
  • Problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver results within deadlines.
