Lab Technician

Role & responsibilities

• Collect, label, and process biological samples (blood, urine, stool, swabs, etc.).
• Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests as per standard protocols.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and ensure calibration is up to date.
• Record test results accurately and maintain proper documentation.
• Assist pathologists/medical officers in diagnostic procedures.
• Ensure compliance with NABL/ISO/organizational quality standards.
• Maintain stock of laboratory reagents, consumables, and request supplies as required.
• Follow all safety, biohazard, and infection control guidelines.
• Handle patient queries related to lab testing, sample collection, and reporting.
• Participate in internal and external quality assurance programs.

Preferred candidate profile

• Diploma / B.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT).
• 13 years of experience in a diagnostic laboratory or hospital setup (freshers may also be considered).
