India Motorola Solutions Full time ₹ 12,00,000 - ₹ 36,00,000 per year
Company Overview

At Motorola Solutions, we believe that everything starts with our people. We're a global close-knit community, united by the relentless pursuit to help keep people safer everywhere. Our critical communications, video security and command center technologies support public safety agencies and enterprises alike, enabling the coordination that's critical for safer communities, safer schools, safer hospitals and safer businesses. Connect with a career that matters, and help us build a safer future.

Department Overview

On any given day, every moment matters to someone, somewhere. And every moment, Motorola Solutions' innovations, products, and services play essential roles in people's lives. We help firefighters see around buildings and police officers see around street corners. We keep utility workers connected and visible to each other with real-time voice and data communication across the smart grid. We provide the situational awareness first responders need when a moment brings catastrophe. We help people be their best in their moments that matter.

Our IT organization isn't just here to support our business. We're here to reinvent it – by changing how our customers, partners, and employees interact with our company. To do that, we're looking for people who bring great ideas and who make our partners' ideas better. Intellectually curious advisors (not order takers) who focus on outcomes to creatively solve business problems. People who not only embrace change but who accelerate it.

Job Description

As a dynamic technology enterprise operating on a global scale, Motorola Solutions requires robust identity and access management to protect against diverse security threats. Are you interested in joining the critical mission of securing enterprise identities and access across a large, complex organization? We are offering the opportunity to join our IAM team to architect secure access solutions, implement identity governance, and strengthen our security posture through advanced IAM technologies and strategic initiatives.

As the IAM Operations Lead in India, you will be a critical part of the Enterprise Information Security team, responsible for the smooth and effective functioning of our global identity and access management infrastructure. MSI provides a work environment that encompasses workplace flexibility, continued professional growth through paid training and certifications, conferences and seminars, and education assistance. Our culture encourages the honing of current skills and the building of new capabilities. We prize flexibility, continuous improvement, and collaboration both within the team and with industry peers.

  • Self-driven, creative, and can operate independently
  • Technical expertise
  • Continuously learning and identifying ways to strengthen and advance MSI's IAM Program
  • Thorough understanding of cybersecurity principles

Roles and Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of all IAM services, managing a team of engineers, and coordinating with global stakeholders.

Operational Oversight & Excellence:

  • Oversee and ensure the smooth execution of daily operations across all IAM functions, including SSO (Okta), IGA (One Identity), Active Directory, Azure AD, and LDAP services.
  • Actively participate in and perform day-to-day operational tasks alongside the team to resolve complex issues and meet service demands.
  • Monitor the health and performance of IAM systems, ensuring high availability and adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Act as the primary escalation point for all IAM-related operational issues, incidents, and user support cases.

Team Leadership & Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of IAM engineers and junior engineers, overseeing their day-to-day tasks, providing technical guidance, and supporting their career development.
  • Organize team workload, manage on-call schedules, and ensure adequate coverage for critical operational duties.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture focused on quality and continuous improvement.

Stakeholder Coordination & Communication:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for the IAM operations team in India, coordinating effectively with the onsite IAM Lead and Managers in the US.
  • Provide regular updates to leadership on operational performance, ongoing incidents, and team progress.
  • Collaborate with application owners, IT infrastructure teams, and the help desk to resolve cross-functional issues.

Process Improvement & Automation:

  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the IAM operational landscape.
  • Develop proposals and business cases for new tools or automation initiatives and present them to leadership for consideration.
  • Drive the implementation of approved improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce manual effort, and strengthen security.
