Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role located in Varanasi. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing and analyzing reports, processing transactions, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with financial laws and regulations. The role also includes reconciling accounts, monitoring organizational expenditures, collaborating with team members regarding financial procedures, and supporting the organization's sustainability mission through precise and ethical financial practices.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in accounting principles, financial analysis, and budget management
  • Experience in maintaining and organizing accurate financial records and statements
  • Familiarity with accounting software and tools; ability to process and manage financial transactions efficiently
  • Understanding of financial laws, compliance standards, and ethical financial practices
  • Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and effective problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and stakeholders
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, ACA) are a plus
