Role: Data Analyst

Location: Remote

Rate: 1lpm per month

Duration: 6+ months

Exp : 5+

Salary Range : 10-12LPA

The candidate will be working on the Australian shift.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Evaluate, analyze, model, and visualize data for mature data products.

Work across requirements gathering, data modeling, and visualizations.

Improve and consolidate existing data products.

Gather and document business, data, and technology requirements (using Jira/Confluence).

Perform data analysis, profiling, and modelling (structured & unstructured data).

Create dashboards and reports using Tableau or Power BI.

Promote data-driven decision making across leadership.

Provide input for handover to support teams.

Share knowledge across analytics chapters and squads.

Essential Experience

5+ years in data analysis and modelling (preferably in big data environments).

5+ years in requirements gathering.

3+ years in data visualization (especially Tableau).

Experience in large, complex enterprises in technology/data roles.

Mandatory Skills

End-to-end delivery from problem understanding → SQL data sourcing → insights presentation.

Strong commercial acumen combined with analytics.

Expertise in data cleaning and manipulation.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

SQL: Write and optimize complex queries.

DBT: Build and optimize data models.

Data Modeling: Star Schema, Data Vault, Slowly Changing Dimensions.

Tableau and Looker Studio optimization and testing.

Ability to simplify complex insights for stakeholders (business storytelling).

Growth mindset and focus on continuous improvement.

Desired Skills

Google Cloud Platform experience.

Working with Personally Identifiable Information.

Unstructured data handling.

Retail industry experience.

Python or R programming.

Strong statistical knowledge for A/B testing and experimentation.
