Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Insurance Billing Executive to handle medical insurance claims, billing, and reimbursement processes. The role involves coordinating with patients, insurance companies, and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely claim submission, follow-up, and payment posting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process medical claims for insurance billing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Verify patient insurance coverage, eligibility, and benefits before billing.
  • Submit claims electronically and/or manually to insurance companies.
  • Track, monitor, and follow up on pending or denied claims.
  • Resolve claim discrepancies, rejections, and appeals with insurance providers.
  • Post insurance and patient payments accurately in the billing system.
  • Prepare and maintain reports related to claims status, receivables, and denials.
  • Coordinate with doctors, patients, and insurance representatives for claim clarifications.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory requirements.
  • Support patients with queries related to insurance billing and payment status.
Required Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare billing procedures and medical insurance processes.
  • Familiarity with ICD, CPT, and HCPCS codes (preferred).
  • Hands-on experience with billing software and MS Office.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work with numbers accurately.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential patient and financial information.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate in Commerce, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in healthcare billing/insurance claims.
