Responsibilities

  • Show Collateral: Write engaging titles, loglines, and descriptions for shows and episodes that capture audience attention instantly.
  • Push Notifications & Campaigns: Create snappy PN copies, campaign slogans, and engagement prompts that drive clicks, watch-time, and retention.
  • Promo Ideas: Collaborate with marketing and creative ops to brainstorm bold, out-of-the-box campaign ideas tailored for short-form dramas.
  • Localization: Develop culturally relevant and emotionally resonant copy for Telugu/Tamil audiences while aligning with the brand's tone of voice.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with design, programming ops, and marketing teams to ensure creative consistency across all touchpoints.
  • Content Optimization: Edit, refine, and adapt copy for clarity, consistency, and maximum impact across different formats.
  • Trendspotting: Stay on top of OTT, pop culture, and digital content trends to keep our storytelling fresh, local, and relatable.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Copywriter/Content Writer in the media, entertainment, or OTT space.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills in English and at least one South Indian language (Telugu or Tamil required).
  • Strong background in social media content creation, marketing campaigns, and short-form storytelling.
  • Knowledge of SEO principles and digital marketing best practices.
  • Familiarity with micro-drama/short-form content audiences and trends.
  • Ability to adapt content across languages and cultural contexts, appealing to both local and global audiences.
  • Passion for movies, dramas, and digital storytelling with a knack for connecting with audiences emotionally.
