Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial strategy, governance, and operations of the organization. This role requires a dynamic leader with both strategic foresight and operational expertise to strengthen financial health, ensure compliance, and support sustainable business growth in a highly competitive engineering and automation landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the organizations financial strategy, planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Lead FP&A, management reporting, and variance analysis to drive operational efficiency.
  • Oversee accounting, taxation, audits, statutory filings, and compliance functions.
  • Partner with operations to evaluate project feasibility, margins, cost controls, and profitability.
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, treasury operations, and banking relationships.
  • Drive adoption of ERP systems, finance automation, and data governance tools.
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance team aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Ensure accurate financial reporting, audit readiness, and strong governance practices.

Candidate Profile

  • 15+ years of progressive finance leadership.
  • Candidate should be residing in Mumbai.
  • Extensive experience in electrical contracting, engineering, industrial automation, or related sectors.
  • Strong expertise in FP&A, tax planning, project finance, and ERP/BI systems implementation.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with C-level executives, auditors, and bankers.
  • A strategic thinker with attention to detail, ethical integrity, and a results-driven mindset.
