About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting fundamentals and hands-on working knowledge of day-to-day finance operations. You will work closely with our senior accountants and consultants across multiple client projects, gaining exposure to real-time accounting, compliance, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain day-to-day accounting records and update books of accounts.
  • Assist in preparing financial statements, MIS reports, and month-end closing activities.
  • Handle AP/AR entries, bank reconciliation, petty cash, and vendor payments.
  • Support GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance activities.
  • Prepare and verify invoices, receipts, and supporting documents.
  • Assist in audit preparation and documentation for internal/external audits.
  • Coordinate with clients for data collection and clarifications.
  • Support senior accountants in analysis, budgeting, and project tasks.

Required Skills

  • Strong working knowledge of basic accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in Tally / Zoho Books / QuickBooks / MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, basic formulas).
  • Good understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
  • Ability to maintain accurate and organized records.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and time-management skills.

Education & Experience

  • B.Com / M.Com / BBA (Finance) / MBA (Finance) / CA Inter (preferred but not mandatory)
  • 0–2 years of experience in accounting or internship experience in a CA firm.
  • Freshers with solid practical accounting knowledge are encouraged to apply.
