About the Role:

Driffle is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Legal Intern to support our Payments team. This is a great opportunity for a law student or recent graduate who is interested in gaining hands-on experience in legal and regulatory aspects of digital payments, e-commerce operations, and cross-border compliance.The Individual will ensure adherence to regulatory frameworks, assist in documentation, and support day-to-day compliance activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in researching laws and regulations related to payments, data privacy (e.g., GDPR), anti-money laundering (AML), and e-commerce.
  • Support the drafting and review of internal policies, terms and conditions, and compliance-related documentation.
  • Help maintain up-to-date records of licenses, filings, and regulatory submissions across jurisdictions..
  • Coordinate with internal teams to support legal and compliance checks for new payment integrations, features or any risk assesment.
  • Assist in preparing reports, and presentations for stakeholders.
  • Provide general support to the Payments teams as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law.
  • Interest in payments law, fintech, e-commerce, and regulatory compliance.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Previous internship experience in a legal or compliance role is a plus.
