We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Accession Officer to join our team.The Accession Officer is responsible for receiving, registering, and processing patient samples in the laboratory. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to maintain high standards of quality and accuracy throughout the accessioning process. The Accession Officer will collaborate closely with laboratory personnel, ensuring that samples are appropriately labelled, tracked, and prepared for testing. Our People NPS is >90% and Glassdoor rating is 4.9.Competitive Pay      What will you get to do?Receive and log in patient samples accurately and promptly, ensuring the proper identification and labeling of each sample container.Enter relevant patient and sample information into the laboratory information system (LIS) or laboratory management system (LMS) with precision and Monitor the movement of samples within the laboratory, from accessioning to testing, to ensure samples are appropriately routed and accounted for at each stage.Maintain strict adherence to quality control procedures, following standard operating protocols to minimize errors and maintain accuracy in sample accessioning.Record and maintain detailed records of sample accessioning activities, including any deviations or discrepancies encountered during the process.Monitor and manage the inventory of sample collection materials, ensuring an adequate supply of necessary items to facilitate smooth accessioning.Properly handle and store samples, following established guidelines and protocols to ensure the integrity and stability of the samples during storage and transportation. Adhere to all relevant regulatory guidelines and company policies related to the handling and processing of patient samples, maintaining compliance with applicable laws and industry standards.Collaborate effectively with laboratory personnel, clinicians, and support staff to facilitate seamless communication and efficient workflow.Identify opportunities for process improvement and propose innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy in sample accessioning.   Skills we are looking forBachelor's degree in Medical Lab Technology, DMLT,Bsc MLT.Proven experience in sample accessioning, laboratory operations, or a similar role within the diagnostic or healthcare industry is preferred.Knowledge of laboratory information systems (LIS) or laboratory management systems (LMS) is advantageous.Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize work effectively.Familiarity with regulatory requirements and guidelines for sample handling and processing.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with a diverse team.Demonstrated commitment to maintaining confidentiality and data privacy.Willingness to work in shifts, as required.Why join us?Market competitive salary with bi-annual incrementsGreat stock option policy with rights to exercise 10 years post exit.Well known for a collaborative culture with a top 10% rating on Glass door.Fastest-growing health tech company in India with marquee investors.Opportunity to build a product that will have a significant impact on people's health and well-being.
