Role Objective

To lead operations efficiently by managing stakeholders, staff, and resources while ensuring smooth coordination and proactive communication with the HQ team.

Key Responsibilities

Stakeholder Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with BSRTC (Bihar State Road Transport Corporation) and other key stakeholders through regular meetings and engagement.
  • Ensure timely collection and release of payments as per the agreed schedule.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between BSRTC and the central Chalo team, ensuring transparent and effective communication.

Digital Penetration & Implementation:

  • Drive digital adoption for BSRTC, targeting growth from 1% to 10% within six months.
  • Support the launch and adoption of UPI with guidance from senior leaders.
  • Monitor and report on digital growth metrics and implement necessary corrective actions.

Operations & Compliance:

  • Ensure 100% adherence to the SLAs defined in the RFP.
  • Work closely with internal and external teams to maintain compliance and meet operational standards.
  • Conduct regular reviews and meetings to track progress and address issues proactively.

Team Management:

  • Hire, train, and guide the local operations team to achieve business goals.

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in operations management (both field and office-based).
  • Understanding of basic technology, apps, and solutions related to the role
  • Strong coordination, execution, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in reporting tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, and dashboards.
  • Proven ability to manage on-ground execution and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Familiarity with local markets would be a plus
  • Knowledge of operations methodology, especially in B2G (Business-to-Government) setu
