Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Merchant located in Gurugram. The Senior Merchant will be responsible for managing the entire merchandise process including sourcing, production follow-up, and coordination with buyers and suppliers. Daily tasks will involve order processing, overseeing samples and production, ensuring quality control, and meeting shipment deadlines. The Senior Merchant will also be responsible for price negotiation, cost management, and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders to achieve business objectives.

Qualifications

  • Experience in sourcing, order processing, and production follow-up
  • Skills in price negotiation and cost management
  • Strong coordination and communication abilities for working with buyers and suppliers
  • Knowledge of quality control standards and procedures
  • Proficiency in using merchandise management software and tools
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion, Merchandising, Business, or a related field
  • Experience in the fashion manufacturing industry is a plus
