Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Merchant, located in Gurugram. The Senior Merchant will oversee daily operations related to product sourcing, inventory management, and vendor relationships. Responsibilities include negotiating with suppliers, ensuring product quality, managing logistics, and coordinating with sales and production teams to meet business objectives. Additionally, the role involves staying updated with market trends and developing strategies to enhance sales and profitability.

Qualifications

  • Experience in product sourcing and vendor management
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Knowledge of inventory management and logistics
  • Understanding of market trends and sales strategies
  • Proficiency in MS Office and inventory management software
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Experience in the textile industry is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
