Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced
Performance Tester
with strong expertise in
JMeter
. The candidate will be responsible for designing, executing, and analyzing performance tests to ensure the scalability, reliability, and stability of healthcare applications and platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain performance test scripts using JMeter for APIs, web, and backend services.
  • Collaborate with developers, architects, and business analysts to understand performance requirements and create robust test plans.
  • Execute load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests in healthcare application environments.
  • Monitor application and infrastructure performance (CPU, memory, network, DB) during tests.
  • Analyze test results, identify bottlenecks, and provide recommendations for performance tuning.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to debug performance issues and drive resolutions.
  • Document and present performance test results, metrics, and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulatory requirements (HIPAA, PHI data handling, etc.) while preparing test data and executing tests.
  • Support automation and CI/CD integration of performance tests where required.

Required Skills

  • 4–6 years of hands-on experience in performance testing with strong proficiency in Apache JMeter.
  • Solid understanding of performance testing methodologies (load, stress, endurance, spike).
  • Experience in test scripting, parameterization, correlation, and distributed load execution in JMeter.
  • Strong skills in analyzing results using JMeter listeners, logs, and external monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, etc.).
  • Good understanding of web technologies (HTTP/HTTPS, REST APIs, JSON, XML).
  • Experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL) for data validation and performance monitoring.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating performance tests in tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
  • Knowledge of healthcare domain applications, EHR/EMR workflows, HL7/FHIR standards is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate findings effectively.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in cloud-based performance testing (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Exposure to test data management and synthetic data creation.
  • Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices performance testing.
