Job Summary :We are seeking a skilled and reliable Linux Administrator to join our IT operations team in Noida. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of our Linux-based systems. You will ensure the stability, security, and performance of our Linux infrastructure, contributing to the smooth operation of our business.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the success of our technology initiatives in Noida. Responsibilities :Linux System Administration :

  • Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers and workstations.
  • Perform system updates, patches, and upgrades.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and security settings.
  • Implement and maintain backup and recovery procedures.

Security and Compliance :

  • Implement and maintain security measures to protect Linux systems.
  • Conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with security policies and industry best practices.

Network Management :

  • Configure and manage network services on Linux systems.
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity issues.

Scripting and Automation :

  • Develop and maintain scripts for automating system administration tasks.
  • Utilize automation tools to improve efficiency.

Documentation and Support :

  • Create and maintain detailed documentation for Linux systems and procedures.
  • Provide technical support to end-users and other IT teams.
  • Participate in on-call rotation as needed.

Requirements :

  • Proven experience in Linux system administration.
  • Strong understanding of Linux operating systems (e.g, CentOS, Ubuntu, Red Hat).
  • Experience with system monitoring and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g, Bash, Python).
  • Understanding of security best practices for Linux systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Preferred Skills (Bonus) :

  • Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g , VMware, KVM).
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g, Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with configuration management tools (e.g , Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g, AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Linux certifications (e.g , RHCSA, RHCE) )
