An SAP MDG ABAP Technical Consultant designs, develops, and implements custom solutions within the SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) framework, leveraging ABAP programming to enhance data accuracy and consistency across domains like customers, vendors, and materials. This role involves translating technical specifications into code, performing unit testing, documenting solutions, and collaborating with functional teams to ensure data quality and master data governance strategies are achieved.

Key Responsibilities :

Technical Design & Development :

- Create and implement custom ABAP components for MDG functionalities, including Fiori, BRF , and the Data Replication Framework (DRF).

Master Data Governance :

- Design and build solutions for centralizing and managing master data to improve data accuracy and consistency across the organization.

Technical Specifications :

- Prepare and review technical specifications and translate them into high-quality ABAP code.

Testing & Documentation :

- Conduct technical unit testing and create necessary documentation for the build phase and ongoing reviews.

Problem Solving :

- Interact with functional teams to resolve issues and provide technical solutions for complex master data challenges.

Essential Skills :

ABAP :

- Strong programming skills in SAP ABAP, including BAPIs, BADIs, and OData.

SAP MDG :

- Deep understanding of SAP Master Data Governance concepts and functionalities for various domains like business partners, materials, and financial objects.

SAP Technologies :

- Proficiency with Fiori, BRF (Business Rule Framework plus), and the Data Replication Framework (DRF).
