Role & responsibilities

1.Ensuring efficient production processes, optimizing resource use, and meeting customer demand while maintaining quality standards.

2.To prepare the Monthly operating plan based on CDD, and customer urgency and three months rolling plan.

3.Ensuring that production plans are aligned with capacity, demand, and available resources (material, machinery, manpower). Creating and maintaining production timelines to meet delivery deadlines. Adjusting schedules based on changes in demand, machine breakdowns, or material shortages.

4.Monitoring and controlling inventory levels to ensure that raw materials, semi-finished goods, and finished products are available when needed.

  1. Collaborating with procurement and stores to ensure timely ordering of materials.

Managing material requirements planning (MRP) to meet production needs. Circulate critical material shortages list to all concern dept.s

  1. Efficiently allocating resources (e.g., machines, manpower, materials) to meet production goals.

  2. Tracking production progress against schedules and ensuring that targets for output and quality are met.

8.Identifying bottlenecks or inefficiencies in the production process and taking corrective action.

9.Coordination and Communication between different depts., like Quality- for TPI, Production for Valve manufacturing, Stores – for Material requirement after giving production order. Purchase – for Material receipt, Design for any design related issues like BCN, DCR etc. IED/MED for test plates required for MOP, etc.

10.Co-ordination with marketing team for Dispatch clearances, TPI arrangement, and commercial issues like Ship to party code, customer complaint.

11.Execution of Project orders, S T P O orders and FOC orders taken by Sector team.

  1. Resolving production-related issues quickly to avoid delays or disruptions in the supply chain. Implementing solutions to improve processes and prevent reoccurring problems.

12.Consumption of Non-moving inventory, also divert the valves against hold and cancelled orders to live orders as per customer requirement.

14.To update the live sheet on daily basis, so at any given point you will get live status of each and every order.

To Prepare the daily, weekly, and monthly dispatch plans in accordance with the MOP, Additionally, ensure the TPI (Third-Party Inspection) calendar is prepared on the 1st of every month.

15.Preparation of SFR, and MRM also communicate the GAP analysis to management.

  1. Assist the Dispatch department in generating invoices and arranging vehicles according to the dispatch plan. Additionally, follow up to ensure all consignments reach the site on time.

17.Taking the follow of casting required from Heavy Foundry, CI foundry, SS foundry and Outsourced foundries, give them priority and take follow up on daily basis.
