Job Title: Hardware and Networking Technician

Location:VALAPD

Department: IT Support /

We are seeking a skilled Hardware and Networking Technician with a Diploma qualification to manage and maintain our organization's IT systems. The role includes handling computer hardware, basic networking, and printer setup and troubleshooting.

Required Qualification:

  • Diploma in Computer Hardware & Networking / Information Technology / Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) / Computer Engineering
  • Additional certifications like CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or MCSE are an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT hardware.
  • Set up and manage LAN, Wi-Fi, and internet connections.
  • Troubleshoot hardware faults, network issues, and printer problems.
  • Perform routine maintenance on systems and peripherals including printers (inkjet, laser, multifunction).
  • Assist with software installations and basic IT support.
  • Replace printer cartridges, resolve paper jams, and configure printer sharing across networks.
  • Maintain inventory and documentation of IT assets.
  • Provide technical support to staff and escalate complex issues when needed.

Skills Required:

  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (IP addressing, routers, switches).
  • Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair hardware and printer issues.
  • Knowledge of printer drivers, network printing, and wireless printer setup.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced IT environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20, ₹25,000.00 per month
