Hiring administrative staff for Abroad Opportunity - New International Hospital in Baghdad - Iraq

Front Office / Billing / OP & IP Co-ordinators

Responsible for preparing accurate patient bills, verifying services, coordinating with clinical teams, and ensuring timely collection and closure of billing activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist patients/attenders entering the hospital.
  • Handle patient registration and demographic data entry.
  • Schedule and manage outpatient appointments.
  • Guide patients to consultation rooms, labs, radiology, IP wards, etc.
  • Manage the enquiry desk and resolve patient queries.
  • Ensure proper communication between patients, doctors, and departments.
  • Coordinate for patient admissions and discharges.
  • Provide information on hospital services, tariffs, and policies.
  • Maintain a neat, polite, and professional front office environment.

  • Assist in grievance handling and escalate issues appropriately.

  • Handle OP billing, package billing, emergency billing, and day-care billing.

  • Ensure timely dispatch of bills, refunds, and settlements.
  • Maintain accurate records of cash, credit card, insurance, and TPA payments.
  • Reconcile daily billing with cash reports.
  • Assist in insurance documentation and approvals if needed.
  • Adhere to hospital billing protocols and audit requirements.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Graduate in commerce/administration preferred.
  • 1 to 3 years of hospital billing experience (OP/IP).
  • Knowledge of HIS (Hospital Information System).
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
