Senior Python Full Stack Engineer
to join their team on a contract basis. These positions offer a strong potential for conversion to full-time employment upon completion of the initial contract period. Below are further details about the role:

Role: Senior Python Full Stack Engineer

Experience: 6- 10 Years

Location: PAN India

Notice Period: Immediate- 15 Days

Job Description:

Overview

• The ideal applicant will have experience building large scale and REST compliant services using Python in Cloud based environment

Knowledge Experience:

Must have

• Knowledge or experience in Cloud technologies adoption such as GCP
• Solid and proficient skills in Nodejs Reactjs Python and Django or FastAPI
• Experience on design and implement DevOps Continuous Integration Continuous Delivery CICD Pipleline
• Experience in building RESTful services
• Must be comfortable using Unix and should be good with common Shell commandsScripting
• A Bachelors degree or equivalent experience with a major or minor in computer science or related field
• 5 years related experience in IT industry Financial Service
• Experience with PostgressSql or OracleMysql database
• Possess hand on Scrum methodology discipline
• Experience with change management discipline and production issue management
• Good sense on best practice of architecture design
• Knowledge of DevOps tooling such as Jenkins Git Ansible JiraConfluence
• Track record in working on the delivery of complex deployment projects
• Strong business sense with good understanding on how IT systems impact business objectives
• Strong communication presentation influencing skills able to operate well across cultures and in multicultural diverse work environments
• Strong analytical design and problem solving skills
• Microservices architecture and API design

Nice to have

• Experience in Kubernetes Docker containerization
• Experience on design and implement Kubernetes solution and relate cloud native tooling
• Knowledge and hands on experience in ETL pipeline development
• Familiarity with the Apache Beam framework is a highly valuable plus

Purpose

• This role will carry out some or all of the following activities
• Design and engineer software with the customer user experience as a key objective
• Actively contributes to Technology Engineering Practice by sharing Subject Matter Expertise from their area of specialism best practice and learnings
• Drives adherence to all standards and policies within their area of Technology Engineering
• Delivery and support of data related infrastructure and architecture to optimise data storage and consumption across the bank including addressing functional and nonfunctional requirements relevant to data in large applications
• Design and develop applications for internal and external users focussing on the interface and frontend usability of the application
• Keep up to date and have expertise on current tools technologies and areas like cyber security and regulations pertaining to aspects like data privacy consent data residency etc that are applicable
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant controls and standards

Responsibilities

• The Specialist Engineer role will be responsible for providing engineering expertise to the specialist Technology engineering team which may include but is not limited to data engineering security engineering frontend engineering user experience engineering
• They may be responsible for supporting platforms specific to a HSBC business area that requires specialist Technology engineering expertise
• They may be accountable for a product or service within a Technology engineering specialism or they may provide subject matter expertise to one or more Technology teams on the area of their Technology engineering specialism
