Laundry Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The Laundry Attendant is responsible for ensuring all laundry items—including linens, uniforms, towels, and guest clothing—are cleaned, folded, and stored properly in a timely and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, knowledge of laundry procedures, and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron clothing, linens, and other textiles.
• Operate commercial laundry equipment (washers, dryers, steamers, presses, etc.).
• Identify and treat stains on clothing and linens.
• Keep laundry area clean and organized at all times.
• Ensure proper handling of laundry chemicals and safety standards.
• Monitor inventory of laundry supplies and report shortages.
• Inspect laundry for damage or excessive wear and report items needing replacement.
• Maintain records of laundry loads and service completed, if required.
• Deliver cleaned items to the appropriate departments or storage locations.
• Follow company policies, safety procedures, and hygiene regulations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role is an advantage.
• Familiarity with industrial laundry equipment and cleaning detergents.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull laundry loads up to [X] lbs.
• Attention to detail and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10, ₹11,000.00 per month
