Sales & Marketing Executive (Field & In-Store)

Experience: 2–5 years (With strong communication, coordination and sales building skills)

Industry: Building Materials / Sanitaryware / Tiles / Paints / Interior Solutions

About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales & Marketing Executive to join our team. The role involves both in-store customer handling and field marketing/sales for our premium retail outlets — including Asian Paints Color Idea Store, Kohler Experience Center, Jaquar, Hindware, Roff, and MYK Laticrete.

You will be responsible for driving sales, building relationships with customers (retail, architects, builders, contractors), and ensuring a superior brand experience across all our stores.

Key Responsibilities:

In-Store Sales:

  • Greet and assist walk-in customers, understand their requirements, and provide suitable product recommendations.
  • Demonstrate product features, designs, finishes, and technical benefits (tiles, sanitaryware, fittings, paints, adhesives, etc.).
  • Prepare quotations, follow up on leads, and close sales effectively.
  • Maintain attractive product displays and ensure the store is clean, organized, and brand-compliant.
  • Build long-term relationships with repeat and referral customers.

Field Sales & Marketing:

  • Visit architects, interior designers, builders, and contractors to promote store products and generate business leads.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups with potential and existing clients to convert enquiries into sales.
  • Participate in on-site product demonstrations, exhibitions, and promotional activities.
  • Gather market intelligence and competitor information.
  • Support digital and local marketing initiatives to drive store footfall.

Reporting & Coordination:

  • Maintain accurate sales and client records.
  • Coordinate with the store manager and operations team for stock, orders, and deliveries.
  • Provide regular updates and sales reports to management.
