Job Description

  • Develop new features for the Coupang Eats app

  • Design scalable and maintainable Android app architecture

  • Improve app performance for fast and reliable user experiences

  • Build reusable common modules and frameworks

  • Lead projects in close collaboration with Product, UX, Backend, and Mobile teams

  • Guide team engineers in building high-quality architecture and design

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of Android app development experience

  • Strong understanding of the Android platform and Kotlin

  • Excellent problem-solving skills

  • Proactive communication skills and a strong sense of responsibility

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in O2O or e-commerce domains

  • Experience with Compose, Coroutines, and unit test development

  • Understanding of CI and automated development environments

Type of work model

Our Hybrid work model: Coupang hybrid work model is designed to enable a culture of collaboration that acts a catalyst to enrich the experience of employees. Employees are required to work at least 3 days in the office per week, with the flexibility to work from home 2 days a week, depending on the role requirement. Some businesses may require more time in office due to nature of work.
