Job Summary

The Procurement Executive will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services that meet the company's quality standards and budget requirements. This role ensures timely procurement while fostering strong relationships with vendors and optimizing supply chain efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery capability.
  • Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing with suppliers to achieve cost savings.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders in compliance with company policies.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant departments to forecast requirements.
  • Track deliveries, resolve shipment issues, and ensure timely receipt of goods.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and vendor databases.
  • Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, products, and industry trends.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards in procurement.
  • Collaborate with finance to ensure payment processing and budget tracking.
  • Prepare regular procurement reports and updates for management review.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain operations.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of ERP systems preferred.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
  • Understanding of procurement best practices and vendor management principles.
