Job Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Distribution Manager to oversee and drive distribution operations across 
South/ East India
. The role involves managing distributor relationships, ensuring market coverage, optimizing supply chain efficiency, and achieving sales & distribution targets while maintaining strong retail execution.

·      Manage and expand the distribution network across South/ East Indian states.

·      Ensure adequate product availability and visibility in all key retail outlets.

·      Drive efficiency in distributor operations, inventory management, and secondary sales.

·      Achieve sales, coverage, and growth targets in the assigned region.

·      Monitor sales performance and implement corrective action plans.

·      Identify new market opportunities, retail formats, and distribution partners.

·      Appoint, train, and support distributors and stockists.

·      Ensure compliance with company policies, credit norms, and service-level agreements.

·      Build strong relationships with channel partners to drive loyalty and performance.

·      Ensure proper merchandising, in-store branding, and plan-o-gram adherence.

·      Drive new product launches and ensure effective roll-out across retail outlets.

·      Conduct regular market visits to monitor execution standards.

·      Lead, train, and motivate sales/distribution teams in the region.

·      Monitor KPIs, provide guidance, and build a performance-driven culture.

·      Track competitor activities, market trends, and consumer insights.

·      Provide regular MIS, sales forecasts, and market reports to management.

·      Use data to identify gaps and recommend strategic interventions.

Qualifications:

·      
Graduate/Postgraduate in Business Administration, Sales, or related field.

·      
4+ years
of experience in Retail Distribution/Sales (at least 3 years in a regional leadership role).

·      Strong understanding of South/ East Indian markets, distribution dynamics, and retail formats.

·      Proven experience in managing distributors, sales teams, and achieving revenue targets.

·      Excellent negotiation, communication, and people management skills.

·      Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with sales analytics/CRM tools preferred.

·      Willingness to travel extensively across South/ East India.

Technical Skills:
