Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Retail Pharmacist located in the Kolkata metropolitan area. The Retail Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing prescribed medications, providing information to patients about medications and their use, managing pharmacy inventory, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The Retail Pharmacist will also assist with processing insurance claims, maintaining accurate patient records, and providing exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D)
  • Licensure as a pharmacist in good standing with the relevant regulatory body
  • Experience in dispensing medications and providing pharmaceutical care
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing prescriptions and inventory
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with pharmacy software and technology systems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Good interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Knowledge of drug interactions, side effects, and proper dosing
  • Previous experience in a retail pharmacy setting is a plus
