Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Test Automation Engineer to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing and developing automated test scripts using Selenium or Playwright, along with expertise in API test automation and CI/CD pipeline integration. You will play a key role in ensuring software quality through robust automation frameworks and continuous testing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and API applications using Selenium or Playwright.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
  • Collaborate with developers and QA team members to identify and automate critical test scenarios.
  • Perform regression testing and maintain automation suites for optimal coverage.
  • Analyze test results, identify root causes, and ensure timely defect resolution.
  • Develop reusable automation components and frameworks to improve efficiency.
  • Document test strategies, automation frameworks, and execution reports.
  • Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in test automation using Selenium or Playwright.
  • Strong knowledge of API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).
  • Experience in integrating test automation with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, or JavaScript).
  • Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and QA processes.
  • Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
  • Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with performance or security testing tools.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based testing platforms.
