Job Summary: We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Commis II Chef to join our culinary team. The role involves assisting senior chefs in daily kitchen operations, preparing ingredients, cooking as per set recipes and standards, and ensuring high levels of hygiene and food safety.

  • Key Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation and cooking of dishes under the guidance of senior chefs.
  • Ensure all ingredients are properly measured, prepped, and stored.
  • Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards consistently.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations.
  • Support in receiving, checking, and storing kitchen supplies.
  • Adhere to food hygiene, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Assist in minimizing wastage and optimizing use of resources.
  • Work as part of the team to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service.
  • Take initiative to learn and grow within the role.
  • Requirements: Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Commis Chef in a professional kitchen (or relevant training).
  • Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food preparation methods.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
  • Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
