Seeking a creative and driven Social Media Manager to elevate our wedding photography and films brand across digital platforms. This role will take ownership of our online presence, telling beautiful wedding stories in real time while driving brand growth, client engagement, and industry relevance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligning with business goals and latest wedding trends.
  • Curate, create, edit, and publish engaging photo, video, and written content from wedding events, including real-time Instagram updates, stories, reels, and behind-the-scenes moments.
  • Plan content calendars for campaigns, wedding highlights, pre-wedding teasers, and post-event stories or thank you posts.
  • Manage social media handles (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, etc.) ensuring consistent brand voice, look, and feel.
  • Engage actively with followers, promptly responding to comments and messages, and nurturing an online community.
  • Design and deploy hashtag strategies for weddings and events, making content discoverable and trending.
  • Collaborate closely with photography, videography, and creative teams for seamless storytelling.
  • Track and analyze social media metrics (reach, engagement, traffic, ROI) to refine content strategies and grow audience.
  • Stay current on digital trends, social media tools, and best practices in the wedding and creative industries.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Graduate degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field preferred.
  • Prior experience managing social media for a creative, events, or wedding-related brand is highly desirable.
  • Expert with photo/video editing tools (Canva, InShot, CapCut, Adobe suite, etc.) and social media management platforms (Hootsuite, Buffer, etc.).
  • Excellent copywriting and storytelling skills tailored for social channels.
  • Strong visual sense in curating photos/videos to create a cohesive, aspirational narrative.
  • Familiarity with SEO, social analytics, hashtag research, and paid promotions.
  • Creative, adaptable, self-motivated with a strong eye for trends in Indian and global wedding culture.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and travel for on-location event coverage.

Bonus Attributes

  • Basic graphic design or motion graphics skills.
  • Keen interest and familiarity with top wedding influencers and trends in India.
  • Experience coordinating or working alongside creative/event production teams.
