Job Description:

We are looking for a Lead Test Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Selenium Java automation and Advanced SQL. The candidate should be able to lead testing efforts, design test strategies, and ensure end-to-end software quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, maintain, and execute test cases and automation scripts using Selenium Java.
  • Write and execute Advanced SQL queries (minimum 2 years hands-on experience required) to validate backend data and complex business logic.
  • Track and report defects, issues, and test results using JIRA/ALM.
  • Maintain traceability from requirements to test cases and automation scripts.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and DevOps teams for smooth delivery.
  • Perform smoke, regression, black-box, and end-to-end testing.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior QA team members.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and ensure timely test delivery.

Required Skills:

  • Strong hands-on experience in Selenium WebDriver with Java.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Advanced SQL (joins, subqueries, stored procedures, performance tuning).
  • Experience with JIRA, ALM, Bitbucket, Git, Jenkins.
  • Good understanding of Agile & Waterfall methodologies.
  • Experience with both frontend and backend testing.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Preferred domain: Capital Market / Investment Banking.
