About the Role:

We are looking for a motivated Automation Engineer (Fresher) to join our team. This role is ideal for recent graduates with a passion for automation, software testing, and process improvement. The candidate will work under the guidance of senior engineers to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and processes, contributing to high-quality software and efficient operational workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and maintaining automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, UFT, or Cypress.
  • Participate in the design and implementation of automation frameworks.
  • Support the testing of software applications, APIs, and web applications.
  • Work closely with developers and QA teams to identify automation opportunities.
  • Execute automated test suites and report defects/issues using tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.
  • Document automation processes, test cases, and results.
  • Learn and apply best practices in automation testing and continuous integration.
  • Continuously upgrade technical skills and stay updated with automation tools and technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or related field.
  • Strong interest in software development, automation, and testing.
  • Knowledge of programming/scripting languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with automation testing tools like Selenium, UFT, or Cypress.
  • Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
  • Good analytical, problem-solving, and logical thinking skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
