DeHaat's one-stop solution incorporates an online marketplace alongside a rural network of service delivery centers, which together radically increase the profitability of farmers on the platform. At the same time, DeHaat brings transparency and efficiency across the entire agricultural value chain for B2B partners, including agri input companies, financial institutions, and commodity bulk buyers.

Based in Gurgaon and Patna, DeHaat was founded in 2012 by alumni of IIT Delhi, IIT Kharagpur, IIM Ahmedabad, and other premier institutions. Currently the DeHaat platform supports over 400,000 farmers across Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, and Odisha, bringing them 500+ agri input SKUs, exhaustive advisory content for major crops, and 100+ commodity bulk buyers after they harvest.

About the Role:

We're Hiring intern for Agri Input Division. This job is pivotal in acquiring and expanding our customer base which will collaborate with the sales team on product placement and work towards sales and profit goals. Responsibilities include providing pricing information, learning about products, assisting with promotions, preparing sales reports, managing stock levels, and supporting payment and cash flow management.

Responsibilities
:

  • Work with the sales team to plan and place products correctly.
  • Help the team reach sales and profit goals.
  • Give quick and correct information for product pricing.
  • Learn about the company's products, their quality, and key features.
  • Support in promoting and selling different product categories.
  • Prepare simple reports on sales, revenue, and customer feedback.
  • Check performance and suggest ideas to do better.
  • Make sure there is enough stock and help in refilling when needed.
  • Help in managing payments and improving cash flow.

Qualifications:

  • B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Agriculture must be preferred
