We collaborate with special schools and NGOs to offer programs focused on social exposure, career development, educational support, and co-curricular skill-building for children and adults with disabilities. Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and organized Volunteer & Events Coordinator to manage our volunteer programs and coordinate inclusion-focused events for corporate partners and NGOs. This role is central to building meaningful connections between volunteers, special schools, NGOs, and corporate partners while promoting inclusion and social impact.
This is a volunteer role for a Manager - Volunteer Engagement, located on-site in Bengaluru.

Key ResponsibilitiesVolunteer Management & Onboarding

• Communicate with registered volunteers and onboard them onto WhatsApp broadcast lists and center-specific groups
• Conduct 2-3 volunteer induction sessions monthly to orient new volunteers
• Assign volunteers to appropriate centers based on their skills, availability, and center needs
• Maintain regular communication with volunteers regarding upcoming events, activities, and opportunities
• Organize training sessions and conduct surveys to enhance volunteer engagement and gather feedback

Campus Outreach & Recruitment

• Present at colleges and educational institutions to promote volunteer programs and drive registrations
• Build relationships with student bodies and campus organizations to create a steady pipeline of volunteers

Event Planning & Execution

• Plan and execute inclusion events for special schools and partner NGOs
• Design and coordinate corporate volunteering events and CSR initiatives for partner organizations
• Manage end-to-end event logistics including venue coordination, materials, scheduling, and on-ground execution
• Delegate responsibilities to team members and volunteers to ensure smooth event operations

Partnership Coordination

• Collaborate with the NGO Partnership Coordinator to identify and onboard NGOs for corporate events
• Foster relationships with special schools, NGOs, and corporate partners to create impactful programs
• Ensure alignment between volunteer capabilities, NGO needs, and corporate objectives

Reporting & Documentation

• Submit comprehensive monthly reports detailing:
• Number of active volunteers
• Total volunteering hours contributed
• Events conducted and their impact metrics
• Maintain accurate records of volunteer data and event outcomes

Required Skills & QualificationsEssential Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Event planning and project management experience
• Proficiency in digital communication tools (WhatsApp, email, collaboration platforms)
• Public speaking and presentation capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in volunteer management, event coordination, or community engagement
• Understanding of inclusion, disability awareness, and social impact initiatives
• Experience working with NGOs, educational institutions, or corporate CSR programs
• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Event Management, Communications, or related field
