Oolka is Looking for:****
We are looking for Android developers who can build pixel-perfect apps. The developer will usually focus on the front end of the product, but they are also adept at understanding the API services and infrastructure with which the app needs to integrate. The developer is expected to know when to pursue a fully native solution, and also when to use JavaScript to maximize code reuse and understandability. You will be responsible for architecting and building these applications, as well as coordinating with the teams responsible for other layers of the product infrastructure. Building a product is a highly collaborative effort, and as such, a strong team player with a commitment to perfection is required.

What You'll Actually Be Building:
Mobile architecture that scales up to tens of millions of users

Performance optimization for devices ranging from flagship to budget Android phones

Real-time features that maintain sub-200ms response times at scale

Mobile infrastructure that can handle traffic spikes

Required Experience Benchmarks:
Scale Experience: 5k+ concurrent users OR systems handling multiples of thousands of RPS

React Native Mastery: 5+ years, including custom native modules and performance optimization

Mobile Performance: Experience with apps maintaining sub-200ms load times on budget Android devices

Offline Architecture: Built apps that function seamlessly with intermittent connectivity

Growth Engineering: A/B tested mobile features with statistical significance

Technical Stack & Expertise:
Frontend: React Native, TypeScript, Redux Toolkit, RTK Query

Performance: Flipper, custom performance monitoring

Testing: Automated visual regression testing and other tools

CI/CD: Mobile deployment pipelines, feature flags, gradual rollouts
