About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic React Developer Intern to join our frontend development team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in modern web development, work on real-world projects, and learn from experienced engineers. You'll contribute to building user-facing features while developing your skills in and frontend technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing new user-facing features using under the guidance of senior developers
  • Help build reusable components and contribute to our component library
  • Translate basic designs and wireframes into clean, functional code
  • Participate in code reviews and learn best practices for writing maintainable code
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, backend developers, and product managers
  • Work on bug fixes and performance optimizations for existing features
  • Stay current with updates and frontend development trends
  • Document code and contribute to technical documentation
  • Participate in team meetings, standups, and sprint planning sessions

Required Qualifications

  • Recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Basic understanding of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
  • Familiarity with fundamentals (components, props, state, hooks)
  • Understanding of responsive design principles
  • Knowledge of Git and basic version control workflows
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to commit to [X] hours per week for the duration of the internship

Preferred Qualifications

  • Personal or academic projects demonstrating skills
  • Basic knowledge of state management concepts (Redux, Context API)
  • Familiarity with ES6+ features (arrow functions, destructuring, async/await, etc.)
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs and how to consume them
  • Experience with CSS preprocessors (Sass, Less) or CSS-in-JS libraries
  • Exposure to modern build tools (Webpack, Vite) and package managers (npm, yarn)
  • Basic understanding of browser developer tools and debugging techniques
  • Knowledge of UI/UX principles
  • Contributions to open-source projects or active GitHub profile
