Role: ETL Test Engineer
Location: India (On-site)

Role & Responsibilities
  • Design, author, and execute comprehensive ETL test cases to validate data ingestion, transformation, and loading across source-to-target mappings.
  • Develop and run SQL-based data validation and reconciliation scripts to detect data mismatches, duplicates, and quality issues.
  • Validate complex transformation logic (SCD, CDC, aggregations, joins) and verify data lineage and business rule implementation.
  • Log, prioritize, and track defects using test management and issue-tracking tools; collaborate with ETL developers to drive timely fixes.
  • Build and maintain test data sets and automation scripts for regression testing and repeatable data validations.
  • Contribute to test plans, estimation, and continuous improvement of QA processes and data quality controls.

Qualifications

  • Experience working on-site with cross-functional teams and participating in release cycles for production ETL pipelines.
