Role Overview

As a supply chain manager, you will be responsible for strategic sourcing, procurement execution, vendor management, and inventory control. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining supply continuity, optimizing cost, and ensuring that materials and services meet quality and delivery expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supplier Sourcing & Negotiation: Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for raw materials, packaging components, equipment, and services.
  • Procurement Execution: Issue purchase orders, track order fulfillment, ensure timely deliveries, and manage day-to-day supplier communication.
  • Cost Optimization: Analyse market trends, monitor pricing fluctuations, and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
  • Inventory & Demand Forecasting: Collaborate with internal teams to forecast material requirements and maintain optimal stock levels to support production schedules.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure incoming materials meet required quality standards through inspections and regular supplier audits.
  • Process Improvement: Work cross-functionally with production, quality, and logistics teams to resolve supply issues and enhance procurement processes.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate procurement records, including contracts, POs, and supplier agreements. Prepare regular reports on procurement KPIs and performance.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree or bachelor's in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience, with 4–5 years in the Printing & Packaging industry.
  • Strong skills in negotiation, communication, and supplier management.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and procurement/SAP/ERP software.
  • Solid understanding of quality control, inventory management, and supply chain principles.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet strict deadlines.
