Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Purchasing Executive, based in Kolkata. The Purchasing Executive will be responsible for managing purchase orders, processing purchase requisitions, and overseeing procurement activities. Additionally, the role involves maintaining communication with suppliers, negotiating purchase terms, and ensuring timely availability of goods and services to meet business needs. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline purchasing and procurement processes, ensuring cost efficiency and quality.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in managing Purchase Orders, Purchase Requisitions, and Purchase Management processes.
  • Strong skills in Procurement, including supplier evaluation, negotiation, and vendor management.
  • Excellent Communication skills for fostering effective relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Organizational and time-management skills for handling multiple tasks and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Prior experience in purchasing or procurement roles is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for purchase and procurement management is a plus.
