Key responsibilities

  • Inspections and audits: Conduct periodic inspections of electrical installations (at least annually) to identify potential risks and ensure compliance.
  • Record-keeping: Maintain accurate records of all tests performed, inspections, and recommendations made, and make these available to inspectors when required.
  • Policy and procedure development: Create and update safety policies, protocols, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for electrical work.
