Job Title: Marketing and Digital Media Specialist

Location: Pune, Maharashtra

Experience Required: 3–4 years

Position Overview:

We seek a dynamic and creative Marketing and Digital Media Specialist to lead and enhance our school's brand presence across digital platforms. The ideal candidate will be skilled in content creation, social media strategy, digital advertising, and storytelling. You will play a key role in engaging prospective families, showcasing student achievements, and promoting the school's values and events through compelling digital content.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation & Digital Storytelling

Plan, shoot, and edit engaging videos and photos from school events, activities, and interviews.

Create branded content such as testimonials, explainer videos, reels, and highlight clips.

Design graphics, posters, and visuals for social media and the school website using Canva, Photoshop, or similar tools.

Social Media Management

Manage and grow the school's presence on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.

Develop and execute a content calendar aligned with the academic and events calendar.

Write clear, engaging captions and respond to comments/messages to foster community engagement.

Digital Marketing & Advertising

Run and manage paid social media campaigns (Meta Ads) for admissions and key events.

Monitor ad performance, analyse metrics, and adjust campaigns to improve ROI.

Track website traffic and user engagement using Google Analytics and other tools.

SEO & Web Content

Perform keyword research and apply SEO strategies to video descriptions, blogs, and landing pages.

Coordinate with web developers or use CMS tools (e.g., WordPress) to update website content.

Internal Communications & Marketing Support

Collaborate with academic and admin teams to gather stories, photos, and news.

Could you help with the development of newsletters, brochures, and presentations?

Support planning and promotion for school events, campaigns, and open houses.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Marketing, Media, Communications, or related field.

3–4 years of experience in digital marketing, content creation, or media production.

Proficiency in video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Davinci Resolve).

Strong knowledge of social media platforms and best practices.

Basic SEO knowledge and familiarity with digital analytics tools.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred (Bonus) Skills

Experience working in the education sector or with children/parents.

Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT for captions, Canva AI).

Knowledge of school admission cycles or education marketing strategies.
