We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Systems Administrator to join our dynamic IT support team.

The ideal candidate will assist in managing and supporting our clients Microsoft 365 environment and core IT systems, ensuring reliability, security, and smooth operations. This role provides an excellent opportunity to develop technical expertise, gain hands-on experience, and grow into a senior administrator role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day support for Microsoft 365 applications (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
  • Assist in Active Directory / Azure AD user and group management.
  • Support configuration and troubleshooting of Windows servers and workstations.
  • Work with Intune / SCCM for device management and patching under guidance.
  • Provide remote and onsite user support for clients.
  • Document IT processes, tickets, and resolutions.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior administrators when necessary.
  • Liaise with vendors and coordinate issue resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with IT security best practices.
  • Handle customer interactions confidently over phone and email (supporting clients in Australia).

Skills & Experience

  • 2-3 years of hands-on IT support or systems administration experience.

  • Knowledge of:

  • Active Directory / Azure AD (L1L2)

  • Office 365 / Microsoft 365 (L1L2)
  • Windows Server & Desktop support (L2)
  • SCCM / Intune (basic knowledge preferred)

  • Remote Monitoring & Management (RMM) tools (basic)

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to make and receive customer calls (supporting Australian clients).
  • Previous exposure to an MSP (Managed Service Provider) environment is an advantage.
