Role Summary

You will be required to oversee all aspects of software and product Development and data processing within the department of data and analytics. This may include reviewing & ensuring Quality development of Code delivery by team , drawing up requirement analysis , identifying faults Proficient with agile development processes and best SDLC practices in addition to being an expert in development of an ETL layer with on-prem to Cloud or Cloud to Cloud data processing knowledge should also be able to understand Cloud agnostic approach .Extensive experience in analytics, high-level problem solving skills. Deals with diverse and often times complex issues, where analysis may require in-depth evaluation of many factors. Exercise judgment in evaluating methods and may determine criteria for obtaining solutions. May coordinate the activities of other employees.Networks with senior interior and external personnel in area of expertise as well as some key contacts outside area of expertise.

Essential Functions

• Supervisory responsibility over multiple team members performing skilled tasks. Team tasks may be highly specialized in nature in one or more functional areas.

• To provide direction and management for the team member's career growth and mastery of job responsibilities.

• To provide regular reporting to the Customer and Stakeholders on the status of products/projects, work requests, and process improvements.

• To participate in client meetings and GPN-sponsored forums.

• To recruit new staff and control attrition. During the recruitment, responsible for shortlisting, setting interview questions, and providing interview feedback.

• Establish the probation goals for the recruits. To conduct the performance evaluation process, tracking team member's goals.

• To assist management in guiding the development and support activities for the respective areas including problem resolution, application maintenance, project requests, and system enhancements.

• To track the projects or tasks for component(s) to keep on schedule and to adjust resource allocation based on work prioritization.

• May serve as Subject Matter Expert for product/Components and must be able to guide the understanding of customer requirements and impact for the area.

• Understand the data flows, data architecture, ETL, and processing of structured and unstructured data.

• Responsible for maintaining Security and Data Privacy.

• Must handle the project end to end, ensure a positive team environment, should be able to identify improvement areas in the project to save time and cost.

Skills/technical knowledge

• Solid understanding of  ETL development  principles, Deployment  lifecycle , best practices of ETL data processing types, and methodologies

• Strong knowledge of SQL and ETL , BI 

• Strong SQL skills - ability to write and interpret complex SQL queries.

• Proficiency in any one programming language ( Python or Java )

• Extensive experience in ETL/DW data processing development and to provide data to for BI Intelligence Report Development

• Must have experience working with Test management tools like ALM, Rally, JIRA  etc

• Basic Proficiency in GCP, AWS, Azure, Snowflake or any other cloud platforms .

• Familiar with Security Parameters while developing the code .

• Strong comprehension, analytical and problem solving skills.

• Good working experience in Agile methodologies and usage of tools like Rally & JIRA

• Excellent written and verbal communications skills 

Knowledge of below skills is a huge plus:

• A good understanding of the payment domain

• Basics in AI/ML.

Minimum Qualification

Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience.

Software Engineering, Information Systems or other Technical degree; additional experience in lieu of degree will be considered.
