Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site, leadership role located in Nagpur. We are seeking a highly experienced MEP BIM Manager to oversee the implementation, standardization, and coordination of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems modeling on exclusive luxury residential/commercial projects. The primary focus is to ensure the technical integrity, clash-free coordination, and data accuracy of all MEP BIM deliverables from concept through construction. The ideal candidate will be a technical authority and leader, capable of setting MEP BIM strategy and managing a team of MEP BIM Modelers and Specialists.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Oversight: Develop, implement, and maintain the project-specific BIM Execution Plan (BEP) for the MEP disciplines, ensuring compliance with international and company standards (e.g., ISO
• Coordination Leadership: Lead all advanced inter-disciplinary coordination and clash detection processes, focusing specifically on resolving conflicts between MEP systems (ductwork, piping, trays) and Architectural/Structural elements.
• Team Management: Manage, mentor, and train the MEP BIM team (modelers/specialists) to ensure high-quality, data-rich model production and adherence to established workflows.
• Content & Standards: Establish and maintain the MEP content library (families, smart objects) and design templates to standardize information and increase modeling efficiency.
• Systems Integrity: Ensure the MEP models support advanced functions like systems analysis, load calculations, and construction-ready fabrication detailing (LOD 400).
• Quality Assurance: Conduct regular, detailed audits of MEP models to verify geometric accuracy, data integrity, and suitability for quantity takeoff (5D BIM).
• Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the primary technical point of contact for the client, design consultants, and the construction team regarding all MEP BIM deliverables and coordination issues.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering (or related field).
• 8+ years of professional experience in MEP design and BIM implementation, including a minimum of 3 years in a BIM Leadership/Managerial role.
• Expert proficiency in Revit MEP and Navisworks Manage (mandatory for clash detection and coordination).
• Proven experience in setting up and managing a Common Data Environment (CDE) for large, complex, multidisciplinary projects.
• Familiarity with systems analysis software (e.g., HAP, IES-VE) and their integration with BIM is highly desirable.
• Exceptional leadership, process management, and conflict resolution skills.
