Crayon India is made up of 145 colleagues across the country. Our flat structure creates an innovative and result-oriented culture where everyone is encouraged to further enable the development of our products and services to contribute to our ongoing success and future footprint. We are now expanding our Channel Sales Team and are offering an integral role to be based in Mumbai, working both on-site with the customers and remotely at home. Your key objective will be to develop new and existing channel partners, to ensure a continued growth in our partner business. You will be reporting to the Regional Sales Manager in India and work closely with the rest of the team.

The main responsibilities for this role are:

  • Drive Channel Partner growth across India
  • Engage with new and existing channel partners of Crayon to increase their profitability and operational efficiency
  • Develop existing Crayon Partner portfolio
  • Build a healthy pipeline of potential Crayon partners
  • Understand each partners value proposition and identify how Crayon services and vendor portfolio can increase partners profitability
  • Identify partner needs and align with Crayon tools and services to reduce partners time spent on software purchases, cloud management and billing

It is envisaged that you will thrive in this role if you have sales experience within cloud, licensing and services to new and existing customers. We anticipate that you will have success in this role if you are an effective communicator and have business acumen and a solution and results-oriented approach. You are a sales hunter and have an understanding for license programs within Cloud, Third-party hosting and -on-premise. You will get to work closely with our partners, both existing and future to ensure further growth for all parties.

Desired Competency & Experience

  • 7+ years experience from similar business area, such as vendors, services providers, system integrators, cloud resellers and/or ISVs
  • Solid experience from recruiting and developing partners within the IT Channel
  • Experience with Microsoft CSP Business, as well as AWS business
  • Specific sales experience with cloud, licensing and services is highly regarded.
